The Austin ChiropracticHealth Center opened its doors in 2004 in the Shops at Howard Lane in the hopesof bringing comprehensive chiropractic medicine that promotes a preventionmodel of chiropractic care to the area. 5 years later the location, mission, and passion are the same. Thatfirst year all we had was Dr. Harrys skilled chiropractic training and a hopethat we could make a difference. Opening the clinic was a big step in chasingour dream, says Courtney Schultze, Dr. Schultzes spouse and office managerfor the first 2 years in business. Dr. Schultze adds, I was so eager to helpthe people in the community that I grew up in. Each new case was an excitingaffirmation of what skills I had learned and what I was really meant to do withmy life. With a small marketing budget and all of theirsavings put into the clinic, the Schultzes began writing letters to localbusinesses, offering free spinal screenings in the community, and askingpatients to get the message out with word of mouth referrals. 5 years laterthis is still the heart of how they reach new patients.
